Casting Details Emerge For Boy Meets World Sequel Series Nov 7th 2012, 00:00 On the heels of last week's surprise news that The Disney Channel is moving forward with a follow-up series to the hit "Boy Meets World", Zap2It delivers some new plot and character details for the show, to be titled "Girl Meets World". Created by Michael Jacobs and April Kelly, "Boy Meets World" aired from 1993 to 2000 and starred Ben Savage as Cory Matthews. Beginning with his life as a sixth grader, the series followed Cory through high school, to college and eventually into marriage with longtime love interest, Topanga Lawrence (Danielle Fishel). Although Savage and Fishel have not, as of yet, been confirmed to return, the new show is said to find Cory a seventh grade history teacher, echoing qualities of William Daniels' Mr. Feeny on the...
