A little over a year after he first signed on to the project, director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo is leaving Summit Entertainment's upcoming reboot of the Highlander franchise. Deadline has the news, saying that, while creative differences between Fresnadillo and the studio led to an amicable split, Ryan Reynolds remains attached to the project to play the leading role.
