Sony Pictures Wishes You a Very Carrie Christmas Dec 21st 2012, 00:00 Sony Pictures and the upcoming Carrie are offering up some holiday cheer with the below Christmas-themed image and a viral phone line that allows fans to call Carrie White herself. Directed by Kimberly Peirce ( Boys Don't Cry , Stop-Loss ), the film stars Chloë Grace Moretz, Judy Greer, Portia Doubleday, Alex Russell, Gabriella Wilde, Ansel Elgort and Julianne Moore. The movie is a reimagining of the classic horror tale about Carrie White (Moretz), a shy girl outcast by her peers and sheltered by her deeply religious mother(Moore), who unleashes telekinetic terror on her small town after being pushed too far at her senior prom. Carrie is based on the best-selling novel by Stephen King. Carrie hits theaters on March 15, 2013.
