Sony Pictures Entertainment ended 2012 with the studio's biggest year ever as their films generated $4.440 billion. The studio ended the year #1 in domestic and worldwide marketshare industry wide. Twentieth Century Fox Film was #1 in 2012 internationally. Sony Pictures hit all time highs with $1.768 billion in domestic ticket sales and $2.672 billion internationally. The 23rd James Bond film Skyfall was Sony's top film, earning over $1 billion worldwide. It was followed by The Amazing Spider-Man 's $752.2 million and Men in Black 3 's $624 million.
