Paul W.S. Anderson's Pompeii to Shoot in Toronto Jan 31st 2013, 00:00 Cinespace Film Studios Inc. today announced that their 30-acre Kipling Avenue Studio facility in Toronto has signed the film Pompeii with Impact Pictures Inc., a Germany-Canada co-production by Germany's Constantin Film and Canada's Don Carmody Productions. To be directed by Paul W.S. Anderson, Pompeii is set in the days leading up to the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius, and will involve significant construction builds of ancient Roman architecture and considerable visual effects and computer generated imagery. The live action portions of the film will be captured in native 3-D.
