Although the most recent update to David Fincher's long-gestating adaptation of Jules Verne's 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea named Brad Pitt as a likely headliner, The Hollywood Reporter now brings word that the World War Z star is not involved in the project. Movement towards a green light is underway, however, and Australia is offering Walt Disney Pictures brand new tax incentives to shoot down under. Originally scripted by Scott J. Burns, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea is based on the classic Jules Verne novel of underwater adventure with Captain Nemo and the crew of his submarine vessel, the Nautilus. If Disney elects to film in Australia, the choices are said to be between Village Roadshow Studios in Queensland and Fox Studios in Sydney. At its planned budget, 20,000...
